Robert C. Amster, M.D.

Dr. Robert C. Amster has over 30 years of experience as a residency trained and board certified Emergency Physician and board certified Occupational Medicine Physician. He has been the Director of Emergency Departments, Medical Director at several large California Health plans (e.g. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of California), was a member of the Industrial Medical Council in California, and is a Workers Compensation MRO and QME. He is a lifetime Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Dr Amster is currently the owner of two successful Southern California Urgent Care Centers: Newport Urgent Care in Newport Beach and the Laguna-Dana Urgent Care located in Monarch Beach, California.

Woodrow P. Wilson, M.D.

Dr. Wilson was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and his M.D. degree from the University of New Mexico. He served his internship and residency in New York City at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Metropolitan Hospital.

Dr. Wilson began practicing Emergency Medicine in 1975. The Doctor practiced in the San Francisco Bay area before coming to Orange County. He was a full time ER physician at Mission Hospital from 1988-2007. He is a board certified Emergency Medicine specialist and a lifetime Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Dr. Wilson lives in Dana Point and enjoys snow skiing and cycling. He collects Native American art and artifacts. He has a 21 year old son –Paul and a 15 year old daughter Kelly.

In addition to Dr’s Amster and Wilson, the staff at Laguna Dana Urgent Care consists of full time medical assistant and x-ray personnel, as well as medical, billing and office professionals whose primary goal is to render the most competent and compassionate medical care possible to yourself and your loved ones.
